The thing about the overuse of Anne Frank/Holocaust is it’s operating in two ways
1) It turns her into a symbol without actually learning what led to the Holocaust. Learning the gritty details of the Holocaust is too uncomfortable for people. And, even in death, she’s not allowed to be a person
