POLITICO: “.. They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies .. and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.

Only a small percentage of people have understood the prompt here to mean anything other than saying "classic literature is bad/good, actually." Thank you for delivering something genuinely unhinged

We have armed secret police kidnapping people off the street based on the color of their skin.

When we win: we will haul them before a Senate committee. The masks will come off. There will be consequences.

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.
wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.
You people couldn't hang with real slackers.

Incredible.

Jack Posobiec references the earliest version of antifa -- the anti-fascists in the Weimar Republic who were opposed to the Nazi Party -- as the bad guys.

Earlier this year, Dr. Jane Goodall sat down for an interview for Brad Falchuk’s new Netflix series, Famous Last Words.

The premise of the series is to interview people on the condition that the interview not air until the subject has passed away.

you know, in more authoritarian countries, seeing that secdef is drunk by 10am and the president is a doddering old man who can't hold a train of thought for 30 seconds is the exact kind of things that gives colonels Big Ideas

called @booker.senate.gov to say that if Republicans shut down the government everyone is going to blame them, if Democrats cave on trans rights they are going to further cement in the minds of voters that they're wimps who believe in nothing and they will lose an entire generation of voters

ICE is one of the most well funded military force on the planet, entirely used internally on it’s own citizens, and completely loyal to a far right fascist dictator. if democratic politicians are not on board with abolishing ICE, they must be replaced
This appears to be the full video of the Chicago delivery worker. It actually appears that an agent tries to assault him after he curses the Dear Leader Kim il Trump to their faces.

"sexual matador" is the kind of fantasy you come up with if your homeschool had an abstinence-only sex ed unit.

"my favorite part is the dance with the weapon, by second favorite part is how he's always moving away from my touch while playing to a crowd and talking about Franco's campaigns."

An idiotic claim like this should make people question everything else Ezra says
I genuinely cannot believe that Ezra Klein said we should run pro-life candidates in Kansas, Ohio, and Missouri; three states that recently held abortion referendums where the pro-choice side won!
Taking political positions that'll make it more likely to win Senate seats in Kansas and Ohio and Missouri. Trying to open your coalition to people you didn't want it open to before. Running pro-life Democrats. Constitutional Amendment 3

KANSAS
August 2, 2022
Should there be no Kansas constitutional right to abortion or to require the government funding of abortion, and reserve to the people of Kansas, through their elected state legislators, the right to pass laws to regulate abortion, including, but not limited to, in circumstances of pregnancy resulting from rape or incest, or when necessary to save the life of the mother?

The moment you're born in America you are CONSTANTLY bombarded with messages like "People died for your right to free speech" OR "you're lucky you were born in a nation with free speech" it's drilled in day fucking ONE. To see conservatives do a 180 on something so fundamentally American is BONKERS

Every pundit who took at face value the idea that the Right sincerely cares about free speech, or ideological diversity, or in fact has any principles at all, should be wearing a dunce cap and writing a lengthy mea culpa right now. Not for our catharsis but for public awareness at least

My first academic article was on the dictatorship of Uzbekistan inventing a group called "Akromiya" that did not really exist but which they used to arrest anyone with whom they disagreed under the pretext of "terrorism". Just bringing this up for no reason whatsoever!

They want to kill any information source the oligarchs don't control. Free access to information not filtered through their brainwashing algorithms is a threat to their control over their hyperreal simulacrum, even in the limited audience that Bluesky has.
Truly insane post from The Federalist, which includes the recommendation that the government pressure tech companies to limit access to BlueSky because of the reaction to Kirk's death thefederalist.com/2025/09/15/w...
