The resource I’ve been waiting for: a greatest hits compilation of Jacob Frey’s lies and deceptions

Early voting is underway and Election Day is just two weeks from tomorrow

Frey's actual record: encampment shootings, fires, and explosions. Now thinks he can pin that record on his mayoral opponents.

In 2017, Jacob Frey committed to ending homelessness in five years.

In the years he's been mayor since, the only thing he's committed to is bulldozing encampments and is proposing cutting funding from one housing initiative to fund one that drained its reserves quicker, rather than cutting police.

State violence is state violence. Encampment evictions are not a lesser version of state violence. It’s the same evil as deportations.

ward 6 is complete confusion in carlotta arradondo's "city council for normal people" map. congrats to ward 6 for being this baffling, while down in ward 11, every single candidate is recommended

This is the bottom line for me. I want city leadership that loves the city, and I want it to define "city" as the people who actually live here, equally including renters and unhoused people. Business is never not going to look out for itself. The office of the mayor needs to be people first.
Whether you're new to my campaign or you’ve been on board since day one, thank you. Your care for our city is real, and you deserve a mayor that reflects it. 6/6

The Trump Admin says this shit out loud now for the same reason white Americans have always said this kind of shit in their rec rooms and man caves and at their book clubs and wine tastings and on their back porches... because they feel safe amongst their own kind to be who they truly are.
Trump: I want to thank Stephen Miller I would love to have him come up and explain his true feelings. Maybe not his truest feelings. That might be going a little too far
the Crisp&Green Seoul bowl is quite pleasing

Minneapolis is a union town! Workers deserve a living wage and an affordable home. Mayor Frey turned his back on workers when he vetoed the Labor Standards Board and proposed gutting co-enforcement. As Mayor, I'll champion workers, and ensure our workforce can stay in Minneapolis.

Council funding things that the mayor chooses not to implement is a theme of the strong mayor era.
If I’m reading Kyle right, Frey admits failing to issue 100 housing vouchers *that are funded this year because he wants to kill the program next year.* (This is not Stable Schools, but for single folks.) This is unallotment Trump-style, especially since county/MPHA are in.

Instead of working to solve a budget crisis in partnership, Mayor Frey aired ads about a program he knows is at risk and could destabilize families who depend on the city’s support for housing. 1/

I think the wealthy of this town are trying to rewrite history with their Precarious State circle jerk on all their corporate stations & papers

I think they don't want us to realize our PBS is telling the accurate history of Mayors & Cops in this town.

Watch Paradox next Tuesday at 7pm on TPT2!
