We're no longer "left vs right" it's grifters and their dupes vs everyone else.

Wait, these aren't college groups?

I share many progressive opinions, but it has boggled my mind for almost a decade how convinced they all seem to be that there are just 10s of millions of potential voters throughout the country that have been sitting out waiting for the most socialist candidate in US history to be in a general.

"This brilliant anti-establishment candidate can win only if he faces no opposition from the establishment" is a transparently self-refuting argument but you see it all the time

Man needed a major sex appeal win after Schindler's List 🤣

Honest question from an outsider, does the cult classic status end up making movies successful in the long run? Like, are Blade Runner and The Thing technically profitable due to years later?

It's funny how one overlap should be so clearly preferable to the other 2.

Wow if this turns out to be a tipoff it’s going to undo years of hard work to establish trust and confidence in crypto mar- nah, I’m just kidding. If you’re not cheating in crypto you’re the fish. It’s just a matter of time.

BREAKING: Look at this.

A new crypto account was opened yesterday morning.

30 minutes BEFORE Trump's announcement of 100% tariffs on China, it added a huge multi-million dollar levered Bitcoin short position, per YF.

The market dumped.

The trader made +$192 million in two hours.

Unusual.

I took a history of telecom class freshman year and if there is one lesson I got from it it's that the mass consumer adoption every single breakthrough in information technology has been driven by porn.

The hostage release is a reminder of how bad the Dems are at politics. Not only did Biden refuse to force this deal on Netanyahu & thereby help Harris win, but most people aren’t even aware that Biden got way more Israeli hostages (over 100) released with his 2023 ceasefire than Trump did with his.

I agree that when he goes into more moderate spaces he gives that impression, my question is if it's legitimate will he retain his base or immediately start facing accusations of becoming mainstream.

He might be the first presidential candidate ever that somehow got a significant amount of votes from people that believed he was going to do the opposite of what he was actually saying he was going to do.

Does anyone else find it hilarious that RFK Jr, a man that seems to be obsessed with identifying any remotely plausible cause of autism, had 4 children in his 40's?

I'm not saying I think it looks good, but describing Tron: Ares to me as a 2 hour Nine Inch Nails music video certainly doesn't imply a BAD time.

The existence of even one ex Imagine Dragons fan dismantles the central lie of Imagine Dragons' music, that it is actually enjoyable and therefore should have people want to listen to it.

As for the grocery store thing, they notoriously operate on almost no profit margin, so the chances of city ones having any impact food prices seems pretty low. I am a bit more hopeful about his childcare plan as I think a lot of intangibles don't get considered when countering it.

I'm not rooting against him, but it's really not difficult to find a bunch of neutral sources documenting that rent control raises rents overall. I would say building more housing offsets this, but he wants to make them rent controlled as well and build less units than Lander did.

A lot of people have developed a worldview that life is cruel and unfair and even trying to change that state is to disrupt the natural order of things. Even if they cannot express it this way, they've basically turned perceived weakness into a morality issue.

Tells me they're obtuse reactionaries. He has presented a slate of ideas that have either been proven to be ineffective or actually only cost less than half a percent of the NYC budget. Probably the only thing preventing him from being viewed as de Blasio 2.0 is them acting like he's Che Guevara.

He might be the first candidate in history where people voted for him just assuming he would not do anything he was saying he would do. @tanglenews.bsky.social I think you need a reverse scorecard, what promises does he keep that a substantial amount of his voters assumed was smoke 🤣.
