Maybe instead of committing atrocities, we could just make the rich pay their fair share and have universal healthcare and affordable housing instead.

Idk, just spitballing here.

It’s time for folks at DoD and in the IC to start lawyering up.

If you’re an officer or official who was forced into pushing through potentially illegal orders, get a lawyer.

If you’re a soldier, seaman or airman who was forced to execute them, get a lawyer.

A deadly UPS cargo plane crash in Kentucky stemmed from corporate choices that favored profits over safety, a lawyer alleges in two wrongful death lawsuits, adding the company kept flying older aircraft without increasing maintenance beyond what’s regularly scheduled.
UPS put profits over safety before plane crash that killed 14, lawyer alleges
Last month’s crash happened during takeoff after the plane’s left engine detached, and cracks were later found where the engine connected to the wing, the NTSB said.

So he ordered a second strike… why? There were no survivors, why did he do the double tap?

Hagueseth needs to stand trial.
Q: So you didn't see any survivors after that first strike?

HEGSETH: I did not personally see survivors. The thing was on fire. This is called the fog of war. This is what you in the press don't understand. You sit in your air conditioned offices and plant fake stories in the Washington Post

Can a reporter ask that worm Hassett how those numbers work? Ask him to explain the math on slashing drug prices by 800%.
Trump claims he's slashing drugs prices by "200 percent, 300 percent, 400 percent, 500 percent, 600 percent, 700 percent, 800 percent. Nobody has ever heard of it before."

Aaaaaand…this is exactly why the six lawmakers needed to remind servicemembers about not obeying unlawful orders (this will get driven home when Hegseth gets a pardon but no one else does)
NYT:
Five officials told us that Hegseth had nothing to do with the second strike

Washpost (which broke the story 2 days ago):
“This is ‘protect Pete’ bullshit,”
and
“It’s throwing us, the service members, under the bus.”

Pete Hegseth being accused of war crimes is exactly why Mark Kelly’s message matters. Our military must follow the Constitution, not Trump’s corrupt orders.
December 2, 2025 at 1:52 AM
hey so what happened to the president not issuing illegal orders? Seems like those democrats were right to remind service-members of their oath and training…
Breaking news: Government officials said they are increasingly concerned that the Trump administration intends to scapegoat the military officer who directed U.S. forces to kill survivors of a targeted strike on suspected drug smugglers in Latin America.
Hegseth, with White House help, tries to distance himself from boat strike fallout
As Congress vows accountability, the Trump administration emphasized it was a top military commander — not the defense secretary — who directed the engagement.

They’re definitely not making this any better!
FOX: You said the follow up strike was lawful. What law is it that allows no survivors?

LEAVITT: The strike was conducted in self defense to protect Americans

hey what’s that thing that police do when they seize assets that they suspect were part of a crime without charging anything but you can’t get the assets back?

How do we do that for all of Kushner’s?
We have a cabinet level Secretary of State, a diplomatic corps, Special Envoys, and Defense team to do this work.

“Son-in-law” is not a government job. Kushner does not represent us.

Execs and managers just desperately trying to create value without labor.
November 30, 2025 at 3:20 AM
They are not building tools that would actually generate value to workers because they are trying to replace workers whole cloth. That’s why you see this decline.

Of course Execs use it at the highest rate: they need sycophantic support from the chat machine to tell them their ideas are good.
The numbers in here are hilarious.

Do you use AI on the job?
Execs: 87%
Managers: 57%
Workers: 27%

Planned investment by 2030: $5T
"Necessary" annual revenue to justify that spend: $650B
Current annual revenue: $50B
Three years into the generative-AI wave, demand for the technology seems surprisingly flimsy
