Seeing so many people in here arguing about whether artists are “petite bourgeoisie” as defined in an economy that doesn’t exist anymore. You can’t slap a 150 year old term onto a class of people (artists and craftsman) who bear NO resemblance to the pre Industrial Revolution economy.
Honestly, people calling creators the "petite bourgeoisie" makes me want to snap.

As someone who doesn't support lolisho and who doesn't think it should exist... It shouldn't be the choice of anyone besides the law on what I can and cannot buy with my own damn money. Even the law is on thin ice with how much they should be allowed to dictate

This is why I truly believe that no old fart politician without any knowledge of the field they are regulating has any business drafting or pushing any fucking laws regulating it. You need actual experts, the people being affected and people actively using the thing you are regulating.
Watching the committee in real time made me lose my sanity THE PANIC OF THE 80-90S NEVER LEFT.
There wasn't a sane person in that room! I wouldn't trust any of them to use a PHONE let alone be part of any regulation of the internet
