What skill did you master that you will never, ever use again?
I know how to fit solder-on BNC/TNC plugs. Learnt around 1990, last used c2004 on a bit of thin ethernet (the reason why escapes me, but we only had solder plugs and literally no-one else in the team could fit one).

Watched a delightful nativity today and it reminded me of the time I directed one early in my career.
I wanted 'Mary' to react in shock to 'Gabriel' and foolishly told her to react like a mum would - cue angel appearing and the six-year-old Mary yelling, "F*cking Hell!" at the top of her voice.
