Is it a bubble and will it pop? Asking because once those jobs are gone they aren't coming back.
Once people lose the skills/competencies/drive to write an email or otherwise communicate & research on their own effectively that's a generational loss, if not forever.

In about 1990, I bought a relatively early NICAM TV and VCR, cost me about £900 (in 1990 money!). It was a revelation for the time.

The book is far better than the film IMO, I don't think King was keen on the film.
