A far-right party in Canada is imploding over a 22-year-old staffer’s extreme posting online.

I got my hands on audio from @antihate.ca that might leave Canadians asking how the hell someone like this got into politics at all.

It involves Diagolon, "remigration" and some trojan-horse-style plots:

The US TikTok sale has been signed. The company will be controlled by a joint venture including Oracle, Silver Lake, Andreessen Horowitz, Abu Dhabi-based MGX. Adding a UAE company really makes it clear that this was never about national security concerns.

🔥 "The court further held that there is no legal or conventional basis to restrict the classification of COVID-19 as an occupational disease to healthcare workers, as high rates of contagion through oral transmission make it clear that the disease can be associated with workplace exposure."
better than canada as well. much like the UK, we can’t get public health or the media to admit to this simple fact. they don’t even recognize it for healthcare workers!

Gov’s have done the same thing with Covid and for the most part it worked bc people fall for this and won’t search for info in general. Won’t be surprised if this works too.
Ah yes, deleting climate change from government websites means it doesn’t exist.

I’m surprised it took this long, considering Trump’s EPA takes its marching orders from the fossil fuel industry.

For years, public health bent under pressure to downplay masks. When the same institutions now say “mask up,” it’s not a flip-flop—it’s a warning. If they’re willing to recommend masks again, the airborne threat is serious.
Finally.
A Public Health division released useful public recommendations to helo protect each other from illness spread (including airborne pathogen spread)

Carney says 'spectrum of MPs' attracted to his party, dismisses claim he's manipulating a majority | CBC News
Prime Minister Mark Carney suggested there is still "a spectrum of MPs" enticed by his brand of governing, as the Liberals teeter on the edge of a majority after last week’s surprise floor-crossing.

Mark Carney’s xenophobic nationalism, which builds on Trudeau’s immigration about face, is dramatically reshaping Canada. And it isn’t good. Combine this with his aggressive militarization of civil society and attacks on human, labour, & Indigenous rights, and what he’s doing becomes pretty legible.

Holy fuck, am I reading this correctly? Are they going to do a single-blind RCT (i.e., some babies will get placebo instead of HepB vax and their parents won't know)??? This seems insanely unethical, like Tuskegee levels of unethical public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2025-23245.pdf

First there was reduced wastewater surveillance for Covid and now the crowdsourced FluTracking survey is being discontinued
Min of Health has decided not to continue with the FluTracking survey each week from next year.

What a ridiculous decision. The cost savings must be minimal

What are our taxes actually used for if not things like public health?
