Anytime I see a “women and nonbinary event” what I actually hear is “we assume all nonbinary ppl are afab and will just count them as women”

Like it doesn’t make the event more inclusive it sounds like they just think of nonbinary as “woman lite” and don’t consider amab nonbinary ppl

Non-binary includes people who are masc-presenting, folks. So don't be so fucking shocked when someone who could pass as a cis man turns up to your "women and non-binary" events.
