This is just me guessing, but wasps are socially complex animals so it wouldn’t surprise me if that is what is going on. Very cool you can have that harmony with them! I love wasps!

Wasps, like bees, can recognize faces and likely can distinguish between different people. They may “greet” your bf to sort of chaperone him to make sure he truly isn’t a threat, but they have probably learned who he is and that they don’t need to be aggressive towards him.

One of the most painful things about being autistic is when you share what your limitations are and see pity in another person’s eyes. Because then you know they don’t see you as an equal, but rather someone who needs looking after. It’s a very specific look and it hurts to see every time.

When I was 4 I lost my favourite toy at the beach. I grew up in a port town, and the water was always a murky chocolate milk brown with zero visibility so it was easy.
And then yesterday, 100s of miles away, SOMEHOW I found the same dragon I had lost.
He's awful & ugly and I love him. $4 well spent.
