I just... I just recorded a whole class in Animate last year. Idk wtf we're going to use now. Jfc.

Adobe cant do anything right.
What a stupid reason too...
Called and spoke with Adobe customer support and the guy told me Adobe is discontinuing Animate because apparently the company can't think of any new features to add to the program and they feel it's gotten stale.

So they're just GETTING RID OF IT???

Just a little fellow, based on a Roman good luck God, just to test my silicone. A perfectly normal griffin. Totally.

I've been making some snails. For the purpose to make many, many snails. The snailing. The snarmy. The apocasnail.
Anywho. It's great to be sculpting and resin casting again.

As tens of thousands across America protest the violence that ICE sows with impunity, federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis today.

ICE terrorizes our cities. ICE puts us all in danger. Abolish ICE.

Doing color studies from photos! I think color and light is the next thing I want to push on my art.

Playing around with Jesmonite resin to varying degrees of success. It is certainly a learning process! It's so different from traditional resin. Overall I think I work too small for it.

Some concept doodling of trans angelic figures. They would be pen and ink, surrounded but wood cut gothic filigree.

Wolfish.
You know, I will happily take wolfish. I could use some of that energy.

I have to admit, I also always had kinda the wrong idea about Norman Rockwell until I saw the piece "Murder in Mississippi" as a teen in art history class

Doing a style test. I'm shaky today and haven't used a nib to ink in forever, but it felt nice. Also my masking fluid is old and I can't find my white pen... but I learned things!

More sharing, more connection. Drafts, WIPs, snippets, scenes… doesn’t matter if it’s not perfect (yet). What matters is that you wrote it, that you made your mark. And when you share it, you’re changing minds, building communities—the ultimate defense against slop-ification.

Was looking at maybe vending at a local* con, because I miss it a bit and it's a good deadline for me. Con is in August, spot filled up in November. Bajeezus. I know the scene had gotten crazy but really has edged out people who don't do it full time, huh?
