I read a tip earlier this month that I'm going to start implementing–when you purchase something online and they require you to sign up for their mailing list, note in one of your name boxes the website you're filing the form out on. Then you know who sold your data when your inbox gets clogged.

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

They're trying to starve us of trained teachers from low-income backgrounds. They want to make sure that the only way you can get a student loan to become a teacher is by going to seminary school.

A lot of parents discover their kids have been contacted by a predator, and their first (completely fucking understandable!) impulse is to say the kid can't use that site anymore. But that just trains them to stop telling you things!

Got to go to the Asian grocery store for the first time since school started. Very excited about my haul. I found cute little cakes shaped like dogs for the toddler and am going to try some new tofu meat substitutes. Plus I have baby bok choy and rice cakes and black garlic again!
