The Republicans have the Democrats outorganized because they are taking advantage of being more racially homogeneous but also using the last free meeting places to exist (churches) to spread hate and fear amongst a population rife for it.

A general strike SOUNDS cute to people but the effort that would take needs to begin NOW. It needs to start with people talking to their friends/fam/neighbors. Figuring out what their needs are during a strike. Who can participate and who absolutely cannot.
