in general it is very strange for anyone — even gutter racists — to imagine the mediterranean world as somehow looking like northern europe.
The woke scolds are trying to make this about racism. But Musk is right. It's about historical and scientific integrity. When the God of Thunder disguises himself as a swan to seduce and fuck a queen and the resulting baby hatches from an egg, *of course* the baby will be white. It's just science.

I’m sure JK Rowling will be offering a clear and immediate explanation for why her team wanted Jeffrey Epstein to be present at the launch of her broadway musical, a full ten years after he was convicted. I imagine she’s outraged about this revelation, doubtless very damaging to a children’s author.
JK Rowling's team invited Jeffery Epstein to the deathly hallows play and to a Harry potter dinner.

I can see why, politically, and perhaps even morally, from their perspective, the HO might not want to willingly grant asylum to a bunch of people they feel don’t “deserve” it. But that’s THE major problem with immigration and asylum policy. Wishful thinking by policy makers.

Wow - yes, here it is. It looks like Putin was the one who reached out to Epstein, at least according to what he told Ehud Barak.

Given Barak’s intelligence background, it’s unlikely he’d lie to him

Wonder who was the Russian conduit to Epstein - there is one plausible one

The theme is clear that bankers don’t trust OpenAI’s solvency, and it’s dragging down every partner attached to it.

Pulling together thoughts on the Plan B student loans, the way the system is set up means there will be a 40-50% chunk of people who for some of the most expensive years of their careers will pay a 9% higher tax rate than the other 50-60% and this does basically make it impossible to do tax policy.

my dad didn’t go to university and he was extremely happy to pay taxes for his four children to do so; and, indeed, for the doctors who treated him at Addenbrookes to have gone to university as well.

There is a long history going back to tabloid affection in the early 00s for Captain Gatso of behaviour among right wing men attacking traffic cameras being laughed off that if any other group did it would be immediately denounced as terrorism
This was a minor story on London news this morning - but suspect is a real cautionary (and alarming) tale of an older man getting radicalised online.
