My Christmas cactus (the big one on the right in the first pic, from Jan) reached critical mass and started dropping all its limbs. I managed to get that repotted, and now I have 4 Christmas cactus plants (I only needed one).

I got this pot of “Sunbeckia” at the garden shop Tuesday. Half-price!
It took me 3 days to get it in the ground, by which time it was looking pretty tragic. It’s reviving as we speak.

When the flower turns yellow again, it’s done, and it will start dropping petals.

Those blooms start yellow, and then go peach and pink, and then they get this really distinctive yellow center.

This morning was cold and gray and blustery. I should have cut more of these dahlias yesterday, because they’re really taking a beating today.

"Inevitability" means design decisions are no longer informed by user needs; now they are unilaterally imposed. The users are the ones being designed.

The problem with left-leaning media is they're intrinsically more strict with their propaganda to only using verifiable sources so it's really hard to poke holes in their ideology and arguments in comparison to a lot of low quality rightwing content.
That makes attacking their points with fact checkers not very effective unless the fact checkers use misinformation tactics as well.
In essence people on the right have to work harder and more creatively to push their agendas as statistics and studies frustratingly arent usually on our side.

There is so much out there, so much new music all the time, & old music I never got around to, & old music I still want to hear again. But when I hit something new I really love, I binge & indulge my desire to listen over & over, like a meal you can just keep eating for the rest of time. Sea Change.

Here's a personal confession: when Loser came out, I was too old to get it. I had just moved back to the beach in NC after 2-3 years in PNW, fell back into my old bartending job, working with a whole crop of new younger peeps. I felt so. old. (I was 30.)
