I wish it hadn’t taken me so long in life to figure out to freeze breads and whatnot. So handy for stretching out the food budget.

They take a little while, but they’re not *hard* imo. Recipe says 16, but I make into 15 in a brownie pan (3x5 arrangement).

Early on, I had dismissed the thought of dinner rolls, because with all the other carbs on the table, do we really need dinner rolls? But apparently the answer is yes.

For a short time, I tried to start a personal tradition of making cherry pie for Washington’s birthday. But the last few years I could never get it together, and now I had canned cherries expiring.

It’s only the two of us too, but this is the only time of the year we roast a turkey, so we go all out. I saw you made a cherry streusel pie; I also made a cherry pie! Never before for Thanksgiving.

I was going to get a couple things in the oven yesterday, but, uh, that didn’t happen! I have a pie getting ready come out of the oven and dinner rolls getting ready to go in, delaying the turkey. Luckily it’s a small turkey.
