If I lived in a zoo, they would tell the new keepers "We have to feed him a bit at a time, because if we put the food for the day into the enclosure now he'll eat it all at lunchtime and feel sick and bloated for the rest of the day" and then they would all chuckle at how stupid I am

Yes I know I talk about this a lot but it bothers me. I've never seen an institution made homeless, an institution starve to death, or an institution put in a cage. No institution has ever been assaulted or killed. I've never gotten a call from a crying institution in the middle of the night.
