I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Rawan. Rawan is a studying to be a doctor in a medical laboratory . She had to stop because she couldn’t afford the fees. Her family is struggling including her siblings Mohammed, 25, Samer, 20, Abdulrahman, 18, Rahaf, 13 and Rafeef, 8.

I've been told Sameer Project is the "gold standard" for sending aid to Palestinians. Of many projects, this one is to keep Gazans warm this winter: shelter, warm clothing, blankets. Now they're in tattered tents w nothing, w/ Israel blocking aid entry despite ceasefire.

The reason I don’t post pictures of suffering in Gaza even though I’m asked to at times is because I lived through a decade of folk posting basically snuff films of Black people back when we thought we could convince society our lives matter. It convinced no one. But it did fuck up my mental health.
