Wow, Adm. Holsey didn't leave of his own accord, Hegseth pushed him out. What looked like the SOCOM head resigning rather than do war crimes now looks like SecDef canning him to facilitate war crimes.

Congress should have him testify, and would've already if war-crime-sympathetic GOP didn't run it.
Exclusive | Hegseth Asked Top Admiral to Resign After Months of Discord
The relationship between the Pentagon chief and Adm. Alvin Holsey had been rocky since Trump’s inauguration.

Genuinely glad I built a PC early this year cuz it looks much tougher to do so going forward

Yet another thing generative AI is ruining
Crucial is shutting down — because Micron wants to sell its RAM and SSDs to AI companies instead. It’s already getting hard to build an affordable PC, and the exit of the longstanding provider of consumer memory is going to make that even more challenging www.theverge.com/news/837594/...

We need to talk about the fact that we still DON’T KNOW who Trump murdered.

The survivors of the first strike were killed in cold blood as they hung on for their lives—and the administration won’t reveal their identities. They could be victims of human trafficking for all we know.

1) Make power cheap in the middle of the day
2) Stop utility profiteering
3) Keep climate impacts off bills

Trump will always, always go to bat for corrupt politicians and businessmen, because he is both of those things, and they make up his primary base of support.

1. Jared Kushner's trip to Moscow yesterday was not just unethical; it was illegal.

You cannot accept tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments and simultaneously conduct high-level diplomacy for the federal government.

It says it right in the Constitution.
Kushner’s Moscow mission wasn’t just corrupt. It was unconstitutional.
Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, has been traveling the world to participate in high-stakes foreign policy negotiations on behalf of the president.

Once again, one of the most consistently replicated findings in the history of experiments is that giving people cash with zero strings attached has massive social benefits for those receiving the cash as well as the community around them
An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.

We're going to make Republicans have to fight for everything. They are incredibly, deeply unpopular.

Democrats need to cash in on this, but that also means we need to really pay attention to primaries. We want useful Democrats winning.
I live in a "deep red rural" district that had a close election this year.

The fact that Republicans have to fight to win what are supposed to be districts drawn in their favor shows a shift is happening.

Hopefully, Democrats see these seats as winnable in the future, and send more resources.
