Incredible stuff, pure gold from start to finish! Read this if you have ever wondered WHY Eliezer Yudkowsky has influence. Keywords: LessWrong, rationalist, TESCREAL, effective altruism.

Yeah, it's what the Zizians were influenced by.

Eliezer Yudkowsky is confusing a very human obsession with death and a very modern fear of a techno-deity

If you are a non-Finnish person seeing this scribble, do you know what it is?
If you are a Finnish person, don’t spoil it!
I have in the last 3 days, 72 hours, had three Palestinian people write a post tagging me, and they have all been deleted within a working day. Who the fuck mass-reports people trying to survive and save the lives of their loved ones and enables bluesky deleting Palestinian accounts!

"This website is free" No. This website comes at a terrible cost
Ja tästä ihmiset pöyristyy ja pyörä pyörii ja Iltalehti saa klikkeja ja Facebookin kommenttikenttä savuaa. Missä on ihmisten medialukutaito?
I knew if from seeing the reductio ad absurdum that only disabled racialised writers get publishing deals any longer, (as if Shriver hasn't had an established position in publishing!) and that must have been 10 years ago or so. "I have been silenced!“ in a newspaper no less.

3. If you see content that disturbs you, immediately (or as fast as possible) go and play 20-30 minutes of Tetris (or any other fast-paced game with your eyes sweeping over the visual field that has caused visual artifacts to linger when you close your eyes for you in the past).
Ja, den finns att streama på Rundradion Arenan så ska kanske se den. Tack!

AND NOW IT IS TIME FOR THE CEREMONIAL REARRANGING OF THE BOULDERS
"Fatness is neither personal choice nor personal failure; it is systemic, so rejecting GLP-1s is not merely a rebuke of a “cure” but a refusal to accept that their bodies should be taken through the ringer to achieve thinness."

So glad I subscribe to The Flytrap as I got to read this article!
This was so good I wasn't able to pull any single part to quote post with
‘Why, to avoid naming Boccaccio, did Chaucer invent a fictional Latin poet as his source for 𝘛𝘳𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘶𝘴? It seems that Boccaccio already had a reputation problem.’

Can I toss in some examples from the top of my head? I was in a community that went hard for the 3rd gender marker, so I left, because to me it looks like a new vector for oppression, and if you have it on your passport, what are the consequences during travel? I doesn't seem thought-through enough.
