Frankly, I take this as a sign the bubble is going to burst soon. There's been a rash of absurd deals announced in the "AI" space, and all of them involve sums of cash that NONE of these companies have. They're juicing the stock price but it can't go on forever.

That depends. Cats are also murderous assholes and can devastate wildlife.

Being outdoors also exposes them to pollution from vehicles, which is bad for their kidneys IIRC.

That said, where I live, if you want your cat eaten by a fox or fisher, then go ahead and leave it out.

I don't doubt you, but I also lived nextdoor to a cat hoarder. (She would literally go out at night and pick up strays. I am pretty sure she stole my childhood cat.)

Believing that no one can live up to the standard they have for owners can feed the compulsion.
