I'm honestly speechless.
Examining the bodies returned to their people after the most recent so-called ceasefire, Palestinian doctors noted that, in some bodies “the rib cage and ribs were clipped with a sharp saw—a medical saw, a bone saw—and the sternum, along with the central part of the ribs, [were] lifted to allow for the removal of the heart and lungs without damage to the organ being taken.” Organ procurement, with few exceptions like skin and cornea, requires that the body be either alive—via brain death—or just-dead—via circulatory death. It is plausible that some Palestinian prisoners’ torture led to brain death. It is also possible their torturers felt no need to wait. Palestinian witnesses have reported that some prisoners were alive at the time they were taken for organ extraction. In one batch of bodies, the organs removed were those commonly transplanted: heart, liver, lungs. The transplant surgeon waits for a person to die; the soldier can’t. The settler surgeon wields his mastery over the body to serve the state. Here, the surgeon acts as—is—a soldier.

Chicago-area Proud Boys, Terry Newsome, showed up in Downers Grove yesterday to harass and intimidate high school students protesting DHS-activity.

Terry claims he wants to ban books to protect students in the same post in which he shares video of himself trying to bully them. He's in his 60s.
I redacted a bunch of lies Terry Newsome posted to X, as well as him crying about books he wants to ban. The screenshot also shows a video he posted of a student led protest in Downers Grove, Illinois. He calls the protesters anti-law enforcement and at messages a bunch of conservative influencers. In the video you can hear Terry trying to harass teenagers.

It should be illuminating that prosecuting sex trafficking, the thing that prosecutors and police across the country have been using as a cash cow to fund surveillance and weaponry, is actually not something government prosecutors care about at all.
The system does not hold people accountable.

I've seen a lot of cases, and I have to confess this one is very very bad from what I have seen. Marimar Martinez, from what. can tell, really was almost executed by CBP agents who tried to cover it up and showed that they did not care about her life at all.

Box 2910 Capitol Station Austin, TX 78711-2910 Dear Chair Hefner, As you know, Texas is home to over 100,000 active duty military personnel - the third largest military population in our nation. San Antonio is correctly known as "Military City, USA", and El Paso can claim the largest military installation and swath of restricted airspace in the continental United States. Our state is proud of our thousands of active servicemembers, their families, and the work they do in defense of our country, because they volunteered to do it - and did so by swearing a sacred oath of enlistment, which includes a solemn vow to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic". Today, we, the undersigned, express our profound concern with recent reporting which alleges widespread violations of basic Constitutional rights within the Camp East Montana migrant detention facility, located within Fort Bliss grounds. Camp East Montana was opened in late 2025, and almost immediately upon its opening, detainees, their families, and legal watchdog organizations began bringing attention to conditions that were deemed unsuitable for detainees, even by internal standards set by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).' These issues were detailed in a secret internal ICE report that only federal officials currently have access to. On ICE's webpage titled "Detention Management", it states that "detention is non-punitive." Yet, according to reporting by the Washington Post based on sworn statements from dozens of detainees, the facility, for months, was being run like a prison in a country without standards for oversight, health, or safety for the inmates. There were complaints that toilets and sinks didn't work for the first few weeks after the facility's opening last Augus… US Army Major General Curtis Taylor and Col. Michael V. Soyka, civil rights and legal advocacy organizations addressed documented cases of illegal, extrajudicial attempts to deport detainees to Mexico. "These actions by federal officers are clear violations," the civil liberties groups said in the letter. ICE officers have approached non-Mexicans held at Fort Bliss and "informed them orally that they will be deported to Mexico. When detainees state that they fear being removed to Mexico and decline third country deportation, officers have subjected them to physical abuse, and threats of criminal prosecution and lengthy imprisonment." - Washington Post, December 8, 2025. The December 8th letter also detailed grave examples of physical and sexual abuse against detainees. Advocates shared the story of 'Isaac,' a detainee who was threatened with deportation to Mexico. When he declined, he was violently hit in the head multiple times, and agents "crushed my testicles between their fingers, which was very painful and humiliating." 4 There are many documented and sworn complaints, just like Isaac's, that clearly demonstrate torturous treatment and a widespread disregard for, or a catastrophic misunderstanding of, due process rights among rank-and-file facility staff. As of this letter's first drafting, three detainees in ICE custody housed at Camp East Montana have died, all in the past two months. On January 21, 2026, the El Paso County Medical Examiner's Office determined that the death of Geraldo Lunas Campos, of Cuba, was a homicide by "asphyxia due to neck and torso compression." s Mr. Campos was convicted of heinous crimes, and his victims deserved justice. However, he was not sentenced to death by a judge or jury - he was killed by someone responsible for his care, for unknown reasons or circumstances. It is our responsibility as Texas legislators to ensure that we can trust that jails, prisons, and detention facilities in Texas operate to our high standards and exp… You, as Chair of a powerful standing committee of the Texas House, have the power to investigate violations of state and federal law occurring within military and defense-aligned government agencies. You have the power to investigate and question elected and appointed officers of our government when they violate their oaths of office. We believe that, while Camp East Montana is operated and funded by the federal government, you have the power granted by the Texas Constitution and the Texas House Rules to convene a hearing of your committee, to call and compel the testimony of pertinent witnesses, and to issue policy change recommendations. Our communities are looking to their state government in disgust, shocked that these questions and allegations haven't been met with the seriousness they deserve.
