Ok I’ve been picking up some followers so let me do an intro

I think a good romance series people should read is the Palace of Rogues by Julie Anne long because it is about people that try starting their lives again after setbacks. They’re all standalone but one of my favorites is My Season of Scandal

I see that Iranians are getting acquainted with the segment of the western left that believes that only massacres committed by US allies are bad.

The way they're gaslighting victims while criticizing those who were doing the same elsewhere...Exactly the same as their right-winger counterparts.

I think about Elijah McClain a lot. How he was a sweet, lovely young soul who used to play the violin for stray cats. How brutally his young life ended and how the State sent riot police to interrupt the violin vigil in his name. The cruelty was always the point.

There was a protest yesterday at ICE’s children’s detention center:

“He heard what sounded like ‘hundreds of children’ shouting, with voices he described as ‘high-pitched’ and ‘urgent.’ He said he could see children streaming from dormitory areas behind a chain-link fence and chanting ‘Libertad.’”

This is the exact same garbage Chinese state media and Western tankies were peddling about Hong Kong in 2019.

The fact people can autonomously band together, pool resources, rally donations, and organise is truly unthinkable to some folks. Just because you couldn't do it doesn't mean others can't.
I mostly just stay off Twitter altogether but after double checking that the Walter Hudson post was still up I ran across this and just had to share so the Romancelandians who bought hand warmers could hear about the PROFESSIONAL GRADE LOGISTICS.

"WHAT ARE WE? A BUNCH OF *WHITE* PEOPLE??"
This was just me making this comparison yesterday, but today the Korean news is calling Minnesota "America's Gwangju" and have human rights lawyers explaining how America is now living through the dictatorship Korea once had.
The Chun regime that my wife fought against in the 80s did the exact same thing. They needed a "crisis" that "only they could solve" to hoard more ill-gotten power, so they chose one city (Gwangju), declared its inhabitants enemies, sent trucks full of soldiers to violently attack and kill them.
