Counterpoint:

The Supreme Court lacks the authority to change the text of the Constitution.

So either it affirms the text or (further, and more completely) nukes its authority as Constitutional arbiter.

There’s no third option. Art III (courts) can’t just usurp Art V (amendments).

NEW info on shipwreck attack. It gets worse.

The 2 survivors climbed atop wreckage and waved to overhead.

"Some of the people viewing the video thought ... could have been an attempt to surrender"

Others "said the most logical explanation was ... signaling for a rescue."

Every other boat targeted had 2-3 people aboard. The obvious answer as to why 11 is that this boat was *entirely* unrelated to drugs.

any one of these would've been like a full blown scandal in any other unit (John Chapman alone should've been enough to get them abolished) but it's just Tuesday in NSW

Also this list is missing Logan Melgar, as well as the SEAL who stabbed some random guy in the face on the Santa Monica Pier
John Chapman, operation red wings, task force bruiser, the money in the maersk Alabama lifeboat, Linda Norgrove, Eddie Gallagher, why do we need these guys again?

Interesting that the announcement of Admiral Holsey's forced retirement was the same day that the Navy rescued 2 survivors of one of the boat attacks.

Yeah that's the other thing. What fight. These aren't combatants in the first place. They pose exactly zero threat to U.S. forces. What are they gonna do? Fire a handgun at a DDG?

Something to remember in all this reporting that USSOUTHCOM’s CDR resigned and a USSOUTHCOM JAG raised concerns and was overruled.

The SOCOM commander ordered the strike and SOCOM JAG supported him in the strikes.

Hegseth's "fog of war" claim is nonsense, if this account of what video shows is correct: The two men obviously were visible.

Tom Cotton's claims also in doubt: Rep Smith says drugs not visible. The decision that the men were still in the fight looks very shaky:
