It's bad at every level. School presidents are being told by CEOs that their schools need to be teaching AI or risk having their graduates not even be considered for jobs in the near future. I expect we'll be seeing a lot of schools requiring "AI Literacy" classes next fall.

Still thinking about Shohei Ohtani and his dog Decoy.

(This may go on for a long time.)
Decoy, a very good dog, is poised on the pitching mound while wearing a Dodgers jersey, with the baseball on the rubber. Decoy is on the mound with baseball, ready for action but Shohei Ohtani is holding up his hand presumably telling his dog to stay there on the mound while he gets into position behind the plate. Overheard view of Ohtani crouching behind home plate ready to receive the ceremonial first “pitch” and Decoy is running with baseball in their mouth, nearly to Ohtani. After the first “pitch” Ohtani is still crouching and Decoy is up on their hind legs with two front paws in the air as if high fiving or something. Paws in Ohtani’s hand. Ohtani is smiling because his very good dog did a very good job and is adorable.
