A real prosecutor would be embarrassed by losing cases like this, wasting taxpayer resources on a hopeless and partisan case But a trump loyalist doesn't care about that and knows just indicting someone can ruin their life (and cost them $10,000s in legal fees to defend even a joke case)

The White House says it’s going to use procurement dollars to illegally pay the troops for rather than do it the legal way of enacting a military pay bill.

You cannot w/ a straight face tell me using procurement dollars to pay the military adheres to the purpose statute and the Antideficiency Act.
Zoom in: Earlier in the week it was unclear whether the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) could find roughly $5.3 billion to make the military's payroll by Friday, but two White House officials tell Axios the money was found at the last minute. The OMB found: $2.5 billion from a military housing fund specified in Trump's "big beautiful bill" to continue paying housing allowances for military personnel. • $1.4 billion from the Research, Development, Test and Evaluation fund, which largely will cover U.S. Army and Air Force payroll. The account normally funds military research and was heavily relied upon two weeks ago to cover military paychecks. • $1.4 billion from a Defense Department procurement account for building U.S. Navy ships, largely to fund the Navy and Marines.

Latest on early voting numbers - still MASSIVE! As the article says, hard to draw many conclusions because the only data they have is where votes come from by borough...

But HUGE turnouts for Brooklyn and Queens vs. Staten Island and the Bronx sounds good to me!

Can't really fault South Korea for reading the situation perfectly and acting accordingly. If you lack your own nuclear deterrent then get everything ready so you can start production fast. Nuclear ambiguity would be better but only one very special state gets to do that with no blow back.

Additionally, they have agreed to buy our Oil and Gas in vast quantities, and investments into our Country by wealthy South Korean Companies and Businessmen will exceed 600 Billion Dollars. Our Military Alliance is stronger than ever before and, based on that, I have given them approval to build a Nuclear Powered Submarine, rather than the old fashioned, and far less nimble, diesel powered Submarines that they have now. A great trip, with a great Prime Minister!

The "hard men of Gondor" didn't do shit until Denethor burned himself to death. Also, the hobbits ABSOLUTELY realized the horrors that were part of the war because the fucking Nazgul showed up and destroyed a lot of the Shire.

I'd also argue we have four hobbits to thank for restoring peace.
