my hottest take about industrial/EBM/call it whatever is that any discussions should be rigidly split into 1994 or earlier / post 1994 channels so that people who just want to discuss the glory days of Puppy, 242, FLA, Ministry etc and rank their albums over and over can do so separately

every time I see artists/labels I would otherwise be interested in using genAI cover art, it's like okay - if you do that, why should I trust your music, your lyrics, anything else about you?
I see AI slop in anything, I instantly disregard the whole thing. It's like finding a slug in your salad. If you can't write without an LLM, or you can't source art that isn't genAI, you can't be trusted to do anything. Sorry. Absolute deal-breaker.
