If the United States is to fulfill its potential to become a “more perfect union”, in spite of a history of egregious harm to different groups, then we need to learn from that FULL history to embrace what human rights means - that of equity, equality and respect for EVERYONE

Front-line warehouse workers earn ~$18–$20/hr.

CEO Andy Jassy earned roughly $40+ million last year.

UPS:
Loaders and unloaders earn ~$18–$22/hr.

The CEO’s compensation? Around $24 million.

Both companies have announced major workforce reductions.

There is nothing “radical” about wanting a more equitable city. About wanting to be able to afford rent. About seeing the gap between the rich and the poor growing beyond comprehension. Any mainstream media organization portraying these promises as such is doing a disservice to the industry.

Here's another bit of conventional wisdom Zohran completely blew away: His speech was at well above a 10th-grade level. It was complex, erudite, punctuated by deep and fluent references. You don't have to condescend to voters with baby talk! Part of re-establishing norms is speaking like an adult.

BIG result, folks:

Bucks County, Pennsylvania, was ground zero for the conservative takeover of school boards & anti-LGBTQ policies in 2021, on the Central Bucks and Pennridge boards.

Dems flipped both boards back in 2023.

Tonight, Dems have ousted *all* Republicans from both school boards.

They won two races tonight, both against GOP incumbents.
