A lawyer was on here telling me she got escorted out of a town hall with Elizabeth Warren because she asked her about unanimous consent, Warren lied to her, she said that was she lying, and then was escorted out.

That stuff is really really important. It shows what these people are about.

These people say a lot of words that sound very lefty. This is what they are good at.

Sometimes they genuinely don't know how to mechanically to turn it into reality and most of the time they are just being cynical and pandering for votes while winking at special interests.

My big picture take is I think progressives need to get a lot better at questioning their progressive leaders because they are all part of the problem and everyone is too afraid to peer under the hood because it might ruin their "champions".

Mamdani is winning a plurality of the NYC Jewish vote, so the Jews going to hear him speak inside this synagogue are more representative of NYC Jews than the ones protesting outside.

Zohran is speaking at my synagogue. These folks are outside.

Practice your speech for when people ask, "How are you?"
Cartoon style depiction of a bedridden girl rehearsing an upbeat "Oh, fine!" response to the question "How are you?" as a humorous tip for handling visitors during illness.

Today it is a tool to appease, wield influence, and maintain alliances, to make a stance for “the free world” against Russia and its allies, to stroke the egos that drive geopolitics, while maintaining the optics of standing up for peace and human rights.

From a principled perspective on peace and human rights she’s not the ideal candidate. However, that is not necessarily what the Nobel Peace Prize is about. In today’s geopolitical puzzle, the Prize is primarily a political tool. Does that delegitimize the prize? Absolutely.

Is this the same thing as patrol car cops saying they'll drive if he wins? Aren't beat cops going to walk anyway? I digress.

Nobody wants it as a story but I have multiple NYPD sources who voted for Mamdani, are eager for his win in November, and who say their colleagues quietly feel the same.

They like that he wants NYPD to focus on crime, not quality of life enforcement.

Lmao is this supposed to be a bad thing?
A tweet from Bari Weiss that says “"It's shaken me to my core," a lieutenant said of Mamdani's unexpected victory in June. "The absolute dread I feel is palpable.

Every time someone makes me read something Peter Thiel said it’s like “Scrooge McDuck is Jesus Christ and Huey, Dewey, and Louie are Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel and Daisy is Mary Magdalene and that’s why women voting has lowered American sperm count.”

This is absolutely true. And also the least self-aware article ever, from the publication that brought you “The Gaza Famine Myth.”

What do you think it’s like to watch your child starve to death?

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 4: Sylvia Rivera

In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.

There's nothing at all wrong with being Palestinian, and using "Palestinian" in this way is deeply racist against Palestinians, but it is also antisemitic, because it defines Jewishness as something that can be granted and removed for political reasons.
