Apparently this is the wrong answer, so Wes Streeting is launching another review by a team picked to deliver a more convenient answer 🙄

Whichever review gives the answer they want will be hailed as "gold standard science", the other will be ignored.
An independent taskforce *just* did a huge review of ADHD in England, and the conclusion was that it's "under-recognised, under-diagnosed and under-treated."

To be clear, WI and GG trustees will have been told they faced personal liability including bankruptcy for breaching fiduciary duty by involving their organizations in legal proceedings they might well lose.

They should be publicly fucking angry and uncivilised about the people responsible.

Girl guides bowing to pressure to exclude some girls because of fears about the safety of members & the peace of mind of their parents is not new. It happened in 1930s South Africa & today in 2025 Great Britain. #ForAllGirls
I learned today that Girl Guides in South Africa was a movement of White Imperialism, & the last Scouting institution to refuse admission of 'non western girls' until growing international pressure finally allowed Black & Indian girls from 1936 -though continued to force segregation of non whites /

I find it very strange how a legal decision which relates solely to gender recognition certificates – something under 18s definitively cannot have – is being used to justify changes to longstanding policies on including trans kids.

Now claiming credit for something that 7 MPs had the whip removed over
Left: Chancellor Rachel Reeves says she doesn't want children to suffer because of the two child benefit cap, that's why she cancelled it

Right: Last year Chancellor Rachel Reeves kept the two child benefit cap, and Labour suspended 7 MPs who voted to scrap it

This on the day the Justice Secretary decides he wants to scrap jury trials.
It is genuinely insane to see a judge describe Graham Linehan as a “generally credible witness” in a trial where he claimed Sophia Brooks has been engaged in “trans activism” since 2013 (when she would’ve been 6 years old), then, when challenged, claimed her drivers license lied about her age.

Streeting having a Kemi Badenoch moment where he just tweeted it the out.
Streeting is admitting that the Pathways “trial” already has a predetermined outcome. Stuffing it with SEGM placeholders is evidence of this.

The only way we are going to end state-mandated torture of trans kids is to get Labour out of government completely.

The “Pathways” trial is, IMO on more than one level, a thoroughly unethical piece of “research” to be carrying out on children, especially children who are part of a marginalised minority.

Absolutely fascinating & totally blows the SC 'judgement', tge EHRCs half arsed 'guidance' and UKs Govs insistence on following the SC out of the water.
2/ The instructions are just… fascinating? Well, every piece of public record I’ve uncovered on this subject so far has been fascinating, but this paragraph is exceptional.

It contradicts the Supreme Court directly, comprehensively, and unequivocally.

I remember one of the original big Denorah Cohen Newsnight reports on puberty blockers where they filmed in this attic full of abandoned toys and had creepy mannequin dummys and spooky music playing over it. It made Martine Croxalls eye rolling incident look like nothing.

It’s genuinely maddening that all these political talking heads flap about a right wing coup of the BBC but fail to see anti trans bias as part of that. Because it is bias they also hold.
