Recovering lawyer, old campaign hand, anti-Trump and fascism, pro-democracy, Ukraine and NATO. 33-year HIV survivor, cancer survivor. Still a Kamala Harris fan.
It's Credit Mobilier, Teapot Dome, Watergate, Abscam and Iran-Contra all rolled into one then multiplied by some factor of 10. Previously unimaginable levels of lawlessness, corruption and abuse of power.
This is the most corrupt, lawless administration in the history of the United States and there’s no close second.

We have 60 years worth of data on this! White voters are very consistent.
We know what the problem is.

Y’all stay pretending the actual problem isn’t what it is.

Y’all stay fvcking up in the voting booth & blaming others for y’all being a hindrance to progress.

Y’all stay angry at the base but pretend it’s not your own family/friends fvcking you over.

Fix your shit!

Not enough discussion about how Trump himself is ultimately responsible. His silence on this speaks volumes. Hegseth should already have been fired.
Let’s be clear: these are extrajudicial killings. “Kill them all” Hegseth needs to be held accountable.

What’s more, Trump promised the American people no new wars but is now manufacturing this conflict & lying about his motives.

This warmongering has got to stop.
Hegseth order on first Caribbean boat strike, officials say: Kill them all
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a verbal order to kill all crew members in the Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug boat. Navy SEALs fired a second missile.

Excellent piece.
Friends, head over to Substack and read our friend Earl’s latest piece.

Might be an inconvenient truth, but it is the truth that many need to read, ponder, and share.
📌"I have typed before, and will until my last breath, that Black voters are America’s TRUE patriots, and the only voting bloc that overwhelmingly and consistently gets it right.
How incredibly sad it must be to see white people elect bile who see white supremacy as a virtue, instead of a plague."

To use a memorable phrase from Hunter S. Thompson, Vivek sounds like a farmer with a terminal illness trying to borrow against next year's crops.
Vivek is a combo of Thiel and Musk and RFK, but with a conman vibe.

Not sure that’s gonna fly with Ohio voters. 🤔
Vivek’s latest video is so bad, his supporters thought it was an AI deepfake…

Prosecute each and every one. I think elite unaccountability is an issue with broad appeal; it's even part of the reason for Trump's rise. But the politics are secondary: punishment serves a crucial deterrent function. Unpunished war crimes and crimes against humanity are very corrosive.
i tell you what, if Democrats win the elections in 2026 and 2028, one of the biggest mistakes they could make is to talk about uniting the country by not prosecuting all of the lawbreakers and corruption of Trump administration officials. One reason we are here today is Ford's pardon of Nixon.

Elected officials ought to be able to count to 67. Impeachment is political masturbation without 67 votes in the Senate. I'm pretty bullish about our chances of retaking the Senate but not *that* bullish. Let's say we get to 53. That still leaves us short by 14. Unlikely we get 14 Republican votes.
Impeachment isn’t an option, it’s a necessity. I know firsthand the lengths Trump is willing to go in order to silence dissent.

Impeach, convict, remove. And if our current leaders won’t do it, they need to step aside for people who will: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jo54...

The symbolism matters. Destroy it all such that the man has no lasting legacy but the shame he has brought the nation.
It’s low on the priority list when the Dems retake the White House but every change the orange pedophile has made need to be undone and changed back. Tear down the ballroom, rip up the concrete covering the rose garden. Rebuild the east wing and apparently rebuild the memorial reflecting pool too

It's happening in Europe, too, and it's a giant Russian op designed to create division among the ranks of pro-democracy coalition partners. It's not Palestinians who are being helped, it's VV Putin.
People in the U.S. need to be paying attention to what’s happening in the U.K., because it’s going hand in hand with what is happening in the U.S., the agitators at work on both sides of the pond are working hand in hand with each other, and both have similar goals of ethnic cleansing.

This is terrible news. 💔
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump says West Virginia National Guard member Sarah Beckstrom has died from wounds in DC attack.

What we need right now are lawyers trying to figure out how we make this happen. We can't trust this SCOTUS not to quash it and the issues involved are highly technical.
We're gonna need a truth and reconciliation commission and Nuremberg style trials to reckon with all of this evil, and any Dem candidate for office who shies away from a full reckoning in the name of "moving forward as a nation" can get well and truly fucked
I feel much safer today knowing that we deported a Babson College student back to a country where she hasn't lived since childhood.

She wasn't even flying internationally. She was flying to Texas.
November 27, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Folks really don't understand how profoundly criminal this is under international law. It is yet another way in which this administration is contemptuous of human rights and that indiscriminate deportation is itself a crime against humanity.
“Ban all immigrants seeking refuge from persecution” is just a perfectly spot-on GOP Thanksgiving message
Republicans are now negative double digits on immigration.

So...this is their message on Thanksgiving.

Well, the thing this administration is good at is lying. And corruption. Everything they say is deeply dishonest.
This is a deeply unprofessional and illegal partisan statement from the Trump hack who's currently director of the CIA.

It's also deeply dishonest, because the decision to grant the shooter asylum here was made by the Trump administration.

Anecdotal of course, but I have been bombarded with Black Friday deals from shoe and apparel retailers this year. This sector is not doing well at all. And I think the last pair of shoes I bought was several months ago. Which is unusual for me. People are cutting discretionary spending.
November 27, 2025 at 8:45 PM
Can confirm.
This is why white folks are always so angry. See if you had some black friends you’d eat better.
Sad news.

Absolutely correct. Detrumpification, trials for the crimes, then reconstruction.
No, we need reconstructionists, not moderates.
If Senator Mark Kelly does not win the Democratic Nomination for President he should be the Senate Minority/Majority Leader. He is what a leader looks, talks and acts like….

No disrespect to Mr. Takei, but I disagree. Most of them did indeed vote for this. That's what the "Mass Deportation Now" signs were about.
Most Americans who voted for Trump did not understand he would do this.
November 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM
Trump, Musk and Rubio committed a crime against humanity in this. It's deliberate mass murder of the world's most vulnerable. Send them all to the ICC for trials when this is over.

No, because everyone would just refile as an LLC in a state that doesn't care.
If the state of Delaware prohibited companies incorporated there from spending on elections in any way, Citizens United would be dead in the water.

Delaware incorporates more companies than any other state.

It’s a blue state. Let’s get cracking on moving Delaware lawmakers on this!

She won the support of his delegates, which is how it works. People really need a civics education.
Obama feebly tried to stage an open convention. That would have been much, much better.

It was never clear to me why Democrats rallied around Harris so immediately, except for some weird notion on appearing unified.
