Ms. Kuyateh was one of 19 third-country nationals sent to Ghana on Nov. 6. At least 61 TCNs have been removed there since September.

Others report similar treatment. Nigerians were forced to cross into Togo w/o documents, rendering them essentially stateless

My daughter and I visited the house we lived in when she was a baby, and she was shocked a 29-year-old Navy guy could afford a nice house in a safe neighborhood.

That wasn’t crazy in 1996 — but today, a nice house is out of reach for so many young people. That has to change.

The same House members who warned service members that they must refuse unlawful orders from President Trump are now saying the FBI is attempting to intimidate them into silence.

Now if only they would extend that principle to the President
It’s sad that “soldiers shouldn’t commit crimes” is a brave position for a Republican to take.

I also don’t think the cupboard is bare, either. I think we’ve seen enough from a number of players to see that there’s an *it* in there.

But I don’t think the Timbers have a coach who has shown capability to bring out those *its* consistently in a way that fosters stable success. #RCTID

Kind of like the safety and efficacy of vaccines…
"Is the president openly monetizing the presidency?" is functionally equivalent to "Did the sun rise this morning in the East?" or "Does water have both adhesive & cohesive properties?" It is a settled piece of empirical reality based on hundreds, if not thousands, of observed data points.
If you are on BBC live, you know what to do

(I don't even think this statement would be controversial among experts. He's openly monetizing the office and making literally billions of dollars!)

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.

The “criminal” as a distinct personality type didn’t even exist until the late 17th century
& while there were many capital offenses, a host of mechanisms ranging from “benefit of clergy” to pardons meant that only a very small percentage of those who committed such offenses were executed
I don't know what even the point of arguing with these people is anymore, but the idea that "the crime gene" had been weeded out by 19th-20th century Europe is something you have to be a genuine imbecile to believe.
