We accept this level of invasive spying & deceptive propagandizing of Americans by a foreign nation for one & ONLY one reason:

AIPAC owns our government.

Period.

All it took was lots of well placed campaign donations. That’s how cheaply the Constitution was sold.

Excellent point. Women are very keen to subtle sexism in ways that men do not clue in on at all.

Israel will never come back from what it did

Sadly, will the USA.

It will never be the same for either nation. Ever.

White supremacy is racism. Segregationism is racism. And importantly, the desire to maintain and preserve economic, social, educational, religious and other institutions that are permeated with racism is most definitely RACISM!

that we are held to different standards, valued and treated disparately, including the fallout of such disparities.

To deflect and assuage guilt, some people use terms like “subconscious bias,” to address the issue, but that’s still racism.

If you said less than 4% you would be right.

The corporate HR function is a lot like the NFL, a whole bunch of Black players, very few Black leaders.

So anyway, here is the point of this long winded post:

Black people understand racism to mean the many small but impactful ways

dissatisfaction is either their fault or not really all that serious.

But here’s the funny part, given the ENORMOUS number of Black women HR specialists, what do you think the percentage of VPs and senior executives tasked with management of the HR function are Black women.

decisions are racist or sexist.

And they are not wrong about that.

Many people think the HR function is a service to employees, but it’s NOT.

HR is risk management. It’s purpose is to stave off liability, and to a substantial extent, is also to convince unhappy employees that their

You would be shocked at how many HR professionals are minorities (again, particularly Black women).

The reason for that is that many employers believe instinctively that if a Black woman is defending the company’s employment decisions, it becomes much harder to claim those touted as being

other Black person was considered for promotion to any other opening. In your mind, is that racist?

Because to the dozens of Black people who worked their asses off and were simply NOT eligible for promotion because the enterprise had its two Black folks, it most certainly was.
pamkeithdc.bsky.social
In one of my cases, the enterprise promoted 2 Black people to be senior executives out of 24 positions. Openings in the executive ranks came up regularly, but no Black person was considered for any of those openings until one of the two retired. They were replaced with a Black person and again, no

enterprise is NOT evidence of a lack of racism.

In my work, I do a LOT of confronting of the expectation that Black people (and in particular Black women), must always remain deferential, submissive, productive but NOT authoritative.

I also confront that this type of subversive racism

Black people would say it’s racist if the Black people are held to different standards, have to work harder to get promoted, get harsher discipline, get paid less, get fewer opportunities and have to constantly contain their true selves to remain palatable.

Black people, on the other hand, define and understand racism far more broadly, because it is the subtle and polite form that most impacts our lives.

White people would look at a business or institution that has a representative distribution of white and Black employees and say it isn’t racist.

understandings of the concept of racism.

Most white people define racism as racial hatred. To them the KKK and Aryan brotherhood is racist. Obvious open and often violent attacking behavior is racist. And with such a narrow definition of racism, it is easy to exclude a great deal from the term.

The niche of my law practice is representing women, minorities and whistleblowers in vindicating their civil rights in employment.

Having done this work for years now, I have come to understand something that I feel like sharing this morning:
