Please help my dear friend Amal Al-Haj!

She is continuing to fundraise for her family’s basic needs, including medicine for her sick husband & winter shelter. She is in poor health herself from the genocide.

Can you match the $20 I sent her just now? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

OU is not going to handle this well.

I am so worried. And so angry at my university for doing this.

Harroz has been taking us down a bad path.
OU has put the professor here on administrative leave:

Food security is a crisis on reservations across the US, in a classic example of the ways colonialism strip people of independence and solidarity and cultivate forced poverty and deprivation.
SNAP was restored, but many indigenous Americans still struggle with food insecurity
During the government shutdown, disruptions in food aid rippled across reservations. Both residents and tribal officials had to make tough choices, and are still feeling the financial impacts.

Emergency🚨
It's winter in Gaza, and today the storm will begin. Our tents will be flooded by the rain & blown away by the wind, even though we are homeless & without shelter.
We desperately need your donations to buy a tent cover that costs $100.

We’ve lost so many carers this autumn: people—in & outside of Palestine—who taught us that mutual aid frees us. That hope is action.

It takes all of us to turn this tide of disappearing support for families in Gaza. Here’s one chance for six families:

The billionaires who own much of the the infrastructure of our 21st century lives have progressively enshittified that infrastructure while expanding their wealth, and then they scold us for being small-souled peasants who don’t believe in progress anymore.
it is amazing how so much tech gets unremittingly worse year on year at whatever you once used it for and less pleasant to use and more bound up with creepy politics as well as personal and environmental harms and yet also still less productive of actual goods and these are somehow great visionaries

Fantastic explanation of VAERS and its limitations, which has been used by anti-vaxxers for years to fear monger about vaccines
Pretty much ANY statistic you see cited to frighten you about vaccines comes from the VAERS database. (Including the recent evidence-free missive from Vinay Prasad). Here's why VAERS can NEVER be a proper source for population-level vaccine risk estimates.

Ok yall we have 29 hours to make this for my best friend & hero.

Evacuee Ahmed is eager to return to his work—healing the children of Gaza through art therapy. Today, we’re keeping him housed while he waits to start his degree in Europe to develop this practice.

The fact that TPUSA posted the entirely reasonable comments from the instructor here as coming from the “TRANS PROFESSOR” gives away the game.

They’re not defending students, they’re targeting faculty — as always
idk not to mention how very nuanced and normal the actual response here was

When we share our story, we’re asking for one thing: to be seen.

And the truth is: ignoring us isn’t neutrality, it’s a silent form of resentment that borders on hatred.

So if you don’t hate us, why ignore us?

Every donation even the smallest says: I see you, and I won’t leave you alone.🙏🏻🤍🤝🏻
