about to stack my errands SO HARD
i hassle my dad about this constantly bc he has nothing but free time and is mad about current events but he also would rather play video games. men really regress to their teens in their 60s.
I really can't emphasize enough that if you care about local politics, all you gotta do is show up. Just a regular schmegular person showing up. Literally just show up consistently in person and within a remarkably short amount of time, you will have a shocking amount of influence.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

i have been jonesin for something to fill the ilona andrews kate daniels void and these might be it. i really need some fast paced reads right now.
so I discovered last night at about 2am that the low hum I've been hearing when I try to sleep is a pair of big iron pipes running up against my bedroom wall in an adjoining building stairwell. if I had known about it, it would have been a dealbreaker bc it's at a frequency that I can't ignore.
