Two young Jewish Israeli settlers appear around 14 years old attacking a Palestinian man on his land

This is Israel's future: children raised to believe that violence is heritage and stolen land is a birthright. A genocidal society doesn't start with soldiers-it starts with very beginning 🤬🤬😢

Wow: Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention (named for Holocaust survivor Raphael Lemkin, who coined term "genocide") calls Clinton's remarks "genocide denial."

"Young people in the US are not stupid or gullible. They simply reject genocide – something the Secretary might consider doing as well."

"We should be just as outraged by the deaths that take place out of sight... as by two premeditated murders captured in a MAGA snuff film."

Still-decent humans are rightly outraged by attack on helpless survivors.
But focusing only on it...
Is like seeing only Malmedy, not >15 yrs of Nazi crimes.
It's great that the media, Congress is going all Watergate on one of Trump's many crimes, the 'double-tap' murder of 2 Caribbean sailors

But the reality is that Trump's death cult has killed hundreds of thousands, mostly through senseless USAID cuts

If every Muslim voter in Dearborn voted for Harris, she still would have lost Michigan.

If she had won Michigan, she STILL WOULD HAVE LOST THE ELECTION.

If you want to blame voters for current conditions, feel free to blame the actual demographic responsible for Trump and that is WHITE PEOPLE.

No matter how much a democrat overperforms compared to previous results, they are *actually* always underperforming the secret candidate who was 30% more centrist, I am a numbers man now.
Everyone has their beats when it comes to politics. For example, I try to tie everything to state legislative elections.

I'm just glad my beat isn't trying to dunk on progressives and promoting an ideology that's rapidly dying because being milquetoast in 2025 is lame as hell

"Are you impressed by Richard Hanania?" has become a good litmus test.

Value debate over substance? Influenced by X? Have trouble with bad faith? Taken in by fancier words? Think showing you're open to toxic ideas makes you better than people who aren't?

Matt Yglesias, Jared Polis — any others?
it’s been pretty funny to see Polis’ addiction to posting completely end any discussion of him as a potential 2028 candidate

it is actually kind of bananas how unitary executive theorists have taken a straightforward clause requiring the president to "faithfully execute the laws" and transformed it into a grant for the exercise of limitless unenumerated power.
The Take Care Clause was a byproduct of the lessons learned from the Glorious Revolution that the executive should not be able to dispense with the law promulgated by the legislature. It was not a constitutional provision to empower the executive branch— but to constrain it!

I'm going to keep saying this in my effort to speak it into reality: Supreme Court should have at least 100 Justices with rotating panels (and maybe an en banc option). No single Justice should have so much power and they shouldn't be names everyone knows.
A court with a normal-ish conservative majority would have been tolerable. I'm not eager for court packing, impeaching justices, and other such options. But this court sticking around post-Trump is untenable. They've already torched their own legitimacy, the only question is what do we do about it.
Democrats need to lay the groundwork for reform by attacking the villains on the Supreme Court - loudly, angrily, personally, relentlessly. And they should start now.

If SCOTUS tears down the 14th Amendment, there can be no moderate position for ANY Democrat. If they tear it down the Constitution of the United States, SCOTUS should be deemed lawless and the Democrats must go to war with lawlessness.
The fact that SCOTUS is going to tell us who's an American and who's not is THE REASON why the Democrats must stop playing around. It's time to defend immigration as a universal good and in terms of liberty and justice for all.

Accepting rightwing lies as if they're true is how we got here.

I mean, counter-point: she's a bad writer and an opportunist whose grift involves using the implication (or more) of sexuality to get access to men who otherwise would not talk to her.

And seriously... bad writer first and foremost. Yikes.
Possibly the only thing more freakish than Nuzzi's prose is the contortions her defenders twist themselves into. "She's not just hot, but she definitely is hot, while also being a vulnerable smol child. Also, criticizing her is sexist."
