I watched this delightful documentary/well-edited vlog and vicariously went on a shitty vacation with a trio of funny women. Highly recommended. I legit want a physical media copy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynVL...

Lawlessness is a hallmark of fascism. The law and the rule of law are an agreement we make between each other to be ruled by something other than violence and the inane egotistical urges of a dictator.

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

One of the best organizers I know in the Twin Cities has a great line, "We can't always take away the hurt, but we can take away the alone."

The fact that conservative movements have dollars slushing around with random ancient billionaires has made them think that's the only way social movements are funded. Genuinely do not realise that this is not normal or how solidarity works.
Pathetic.

Genuinely the only thing keeping me going—but it really is keeping me going—is how good it is to see people link arms and push for this to end.

I cannot stop thinking about how much love people can have for their neighbors, and how much work and money is poured into breaking that love apart.

I'm not sure Democrats in D.C. are aware that their base's rage against ICE has reached a level of blinding white-hot intensity.

They're worried about "looking weak" for voting "against law enforcement" when they should be worried a mob of housewives is going to come beat them to death if they do.

Do I like video games? Or do I, in fact, like five video games and perpetually search for echoes of them in every other game I play?

Goths.

We had a rule in the 90s. You had to spend at least as long at the goth club as you had spent getting ready to *go* to the goth club.
we need a word for people who invent elaborate social situations in their head to justify buying new clothes but don't actually like socializing

The videos of the brutal, horrific assaults/abductions at the Speedway - my old apartment is in the background. That gas station was my front yard & my pantry. This world, this country, is a lot smaller than the nazis seem to realize.
I went to college in St Paul and lived in Mpls/NMpls for a few years and even today, I am a fucking American. I have been breathing very shallowly for the past few days, keep needing Deep Breath Moments so I don't black out from fury.

Trust that I'm intensely angry. Just keeping it offline.

I gave up trying to locate my lost Vinegar Syndrome copy of Fade to Black on blu and ordered the recent Scream Factory 4k release. So obviously guess what I just found.

I've been trying to figure out how to afford a guillotine, but thankfully, I won't be able to pay for any health insurance in a couple weeks and can reallocate that cash to the chop. Huzzah!

I don't know if it's due to a sense of lack of control thanks to All This, or a panicked YOLO urge, but I did the thing that I have resisted doing for decades. Crossed the one line I knew I must never, ever cross.

I bought a labelmaker.
