A mother in our neighborhood was taken on Sunday. Her oldest is 15. The family couldn’t find her in the system until last night. She’s being held in a camp in Texas.

It’s been crazy and so much has changed so quickly. I’ve made so many new friends and met so many neighbors, but it’s also shown how wonderful the friends I already had are. Friends helping with everything: printing whistles, helping patrol at my kids’ schools, donating coffee for volunteers. Damn.
