Trump has a fragile ego, and gigantic daddy issues.

So he projects that onto people who are as authoritarian and cruel as Fred was, and for a brief moment, their praise feels like he's getting that hug his dad clearly never gave him.

The rest of his ego is inflated by freely breaking taboos.

Because of two things.

A) He's too stupid and narcisstic to notice how he got played.

B) His win condition isn't doing good for America, it's when he can feel his status goes up. Which he does by abusing power and people without consequence, and basking in hollow praise from father-surrogates.

Yep. We don't do that where I come from, but kindergarden staff are called uncles and aunts for example.

Also less straightforward familial relations, like 'great-uncle / great-aunt' is often just shortened. Likewise with older distant relatives sometimes.

I thought of my mother's cousin as aunt.

You could use the very silly norwegianization of cowboy.

Kids grew up playing 'cowboys and indians' here.. (yes I know that's awful.) And kids being unable to pronounce cowboy perfectly.. it ended up being shouted as KÅBBÅI by most of us.

The Å is pronounced much like the 'aw' in 'awe'.
