The reform party nativity scene.

No unmarried mothers. No Middle Eastern people. No refugees. No people seeking emergency accommodation.

And not a wise fvcking man in sight…
Hypocrisy writ (SUV) large
Double word score:
Some progress elsewhere, as the new London NorthWestern trains (Class 730) have a good bike/seating section. The seat belt frame holder, works really well for multiple bikes.

The oil price is a conundrum for climate change:
- low price (glut) means more use of fossil fuels,
- high price (shortage) means oil companies invest in more drilling.
Is there a sweet spot for the planet?
Although it was obvious years ago that allowing China a near monopoly on rare earths wasn't a good idea.

I don't understand why Australia didn't start earlier, but they seem to prefer sending thir ores elsewhere for processing.

Rare earths: Australia bid to take on China dominance
Recent moves by Beijing have got businesses worried - and Australia is looking to offer an alternative.

Although normally against new road schemes, for this one maybe they need to spend more money - it needs to be twice as long and deeper, so that it really protects a unique part of our national heritage.
But also Treasury: we can't afford to electrify the new train line between Oxford and Cambridge.
Has he not seen the congestion on 10 lane freeways in the USA?
"This increases competitive pressure, since people will drive further for a bargain, and agglomeration economies, since people will travel further for work."
@cobcarey.bsky.social agreed, but a covered velomobile is likely to be heavier than a normal bicycle, so it should be to the right on the bottom scale.
@karlonsea.bsky.social What are typical weights of covered and uncovered velomobiles?
Putney has always had traffic problems - pre Hammersmith Bridge closure and pre these pedestrian and cycling improvements.
But they haven't fixed the velo mobile weight issue.
I didn't like Kate McKinnon, as her acting seemed too similar to Barbie.
What I did love was that the English couple could be playfully rude to each other, but the Americans couldn't cope with that.
The Labor and Labour governments, both with good majorities are such disappointments. Now was the time to do good things and prove themselves different to the right wing parties.
The new electric CPT ones are using a front block similar to the G, so they won't solve your cargo conundrum.

Under Over Over - West Hampstead

So it's taken a while, but I've finally found a location where you can clearly see London Underground trains traveling over London Overground trains.

The vantage point is at West Hampstead Overground station at the end of the platform.
Noooo, "it's one of own".
Although for tall buildings (such as Grenfell) dual stairs should be required.

I’ve got myself out of the house this evening and crossed London to the distant reaches of Hackney Wick, and I’m remembering again how lucky I am to live in a city where I could get here via the underground and a bus and go home again via the overground and a bus. Every city should be like this
Another good reason for electrification is local noise and air pollution. Walking past some parked idling tourist coaches is a horrible experience. Now imagine if they were all plugged in for their AC or using batteries.
You've got to wonder if paid for trolling of Virginia Giuffre contributed to her suicide.
It's interesting that Laura Kuennsberg didn't risk taking on Zack.
