The Labour Government refused a 1% asset tax on the super rich, yet raised taxes on people already struggling.

All whilst their "black hole" turned out to be utter nonsense.

Active choices to refuse to fund our communities which they desperately need.

A DOD "Memo" saying no prosecution will happen isn't going to save you from life in a military prison for murdering civilian fisherman. Taking orders from a Fox News host who ordered you to do it isn't going to look real good to a jury.

"It's not a train, so it'll be cheaper"....but it'll cost lives, and end up costing more than planned because we have to do things like fencing that a train would require anyway.
I understand & appreciate why they’re doing this work but I used this service recently & it added an extra hour & a half on an outward trip. That’s pretty serious if you’re a commuter! Any extra hours on a daily essential journey is really not acceptable!🤔

Option B, with a restraining order against ZS to stop her trying to control the 'collective'?
Here are the options for how the leadership of Your Party will work, being voted on by members shortly (results tomorrow)

In short:

Option A = single leader (Corbyn v Sultana, most likely)
Option B = A 'collective' leadership, effectively of three non-MP members from the central committee

They've missed the obvious Option C: rotating leadership. Every member has a turn at being leader for 24 hours. As leader they can make policy, but after their stint they get kicked out of the party.

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

Yesterday at 2pm my train got stuck at Gorton, so I ended up getting the bus.

The 219 is frequent (every ten minutes during the day), and clearly well used (we missed some stops due to a full bus). But it took 30 minutes to cover 2.5 miles. We need fewer people driving into the city.

Everyone knows they released those unredacted Epstein Files with victims names so they can say they "need more time" to redact and release more right? It was to "prove" their point that releasing the files doesn't protect the victims. And everyone is falling for it because of they are.

The previously Green and non-affiliated members of Your Party are not prepared for the destructive, obsessively factional "organising" of the SWP and Trots.

It's like wanting thriving conversation at a party so inviting an entire basket of reddit debate bros because you heard they're good at that.
Huge cheers as a speaker at Your Party conference shouts "no witch hunts, no expulsions" on stage and calls for all members of other socialist/communist groups to be allowed into the party (many have been booted out in recent weeks)

Many are astounded Corbyn's allies have expelled many Trotskyists.

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

This is the obvious way run a pay-per-mile tax. Get an annual bill, which I'd imagine you could pay in one go or spread over the following 12 months. 3p per mile would be around £300 a year for a typical driver.
Electric cars will need annual checks under Reeves’s new rules

Drivers of electric cars will be requested to go to MOT centres annually to have their mileage checked, even if their vehicle does not require an inspection, under changes announced by Rachel Reeves.
