A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

People are mixing up some things again I believe.
Truscums are transmedicalists and try to link "true transness" to wealth. But that doesn’t mean anybody outside of their uppity teaparty agrees.
Also, there’s a reason some people go by trans but not transsexual, the latter term is exclusionary then.

You could even say the reason why the PokéDex exists is that these books exist, and then they went and also included the trading mechanic. 'You can catch a species in your area that I can’t? Cool, get a duplicate and I’ll trade you a unique species from mine' can apply to both bugs and mons.

It isn’t new that truscums are usually rich assholes thinking they aren’t that rich, and if you don’t have the same resources available, you must’ve done something wrong.
It doesn’t come to their mind that’s just how eugenicists justify killing the poor and undesired all the same.

The ducks went to spread the leftovers far and wide and then scattered around so they didn’t have to put up with the geese who, if you ask me, have very clearly inherited some velociraptor energy. #photography

One of the geese walks along an asphalt path in front or the pond as it stretches its neck all the way to appear as tall as possible. It seems to stare over at us event though the beak is pointing to the left. In the background, some of the ducks are foraging in the grass leading to the pond. The sun is illuminating the other side of the vegetation in the left upper corner, giving the picture’s sides a high contrast.

The goose has turned and is leaning over towards some leftover crushed corn on the ground. It seems to say "this is mine and if you come closer, I will fight you". The ducks have all turned their butts on us, probably not wanting to deal with the much larger goose.

I’ll find something and I can afford the £80, but many cannot afford to go wherever it is let alone afford the £80.

Again: they changed criteria just a few weeks ago. All to avoid spending money on essential care. People are going to die as a direct result of this.

The UK government changed the criteria end of September to exclude carers of ppl who are immunocompromised. I fit that criteria which is how I booked my covid vaccine appointment. Pharmacist told me people come in regularly thinking they could get the vaccine and are turned down. 2/4
