Apparently the dude's also made such predictions as "PC gaming is dead" in 2006, "office meetings will be taking place in Second Life," and "all games will need Metaverse integration." So, y'know, his belief all games will use generative AI is a great sign.

Funny it's only the EXECUTIVES who keep saying "AI" is inevitable and will be in everything. When it's developers, coders, writers, artists, independent creators, and smaller studios run by those people, they're somehow shockingly AGAINST using plagiarismbots that can't code, write, or draw.

Tbf people have actively chosen not to look for alternatives and many still do not know GOG exists. Which in turn leads to less sales and no aftermarket price competition the way you see for Steam codes. Us few who try to shop there more are hence limited in how much we can buy there.
