Israel is about to do war crimes, including against NZ nationals, and I haven't seen a single NZ outlet livestreaming this. If they can somehow do a Charlie Kirk livestream, on multiple occasions, you'd think this would garner some journalistic attention

"Israeli media reports that Israeli navy, commandos preparing to intercept Sumud
Israeli public broadcaster Kan is reporting that Israel is planning to “take control” of the Global Sumud Flotilla, using navy commandoes as well as the Israeli navy, given “the large number of vessels” sailing with the fleet to break the blockade of Gaza.

“According to the plan, hundreds of activists will be gathered on large navy ships, and brought for questioning and deportation from Israel through the port of Ashdod,” Kan reported.

“The fact that there are about 50 vessels will not allow them all to be towed, so some of the vessels will be sunk at sea,” the report added.

It also noted that the flotilla is different to previous missions, as it includes “dozens of vessels and is accompanied by warships”, the broadcaster said."

The Govt's stated reason for restricting voter enrolment in the last two weeks of the election has been speeding up the final count.

But the Electoral Commission just told the Justice Select Committee that wouldn't happen - with or without the law change it would take 20 days.
