Luxon abolished the Govt fund to help industry decarbonise, as he said he didn’t want to subsidise them and carbon price signals were the answer. Then he gave $200m for more fossil fuel exploration and abolished price signals for agribusiness, the biggest polluter.

It's fine to amplify good messages without becoming an anointed follower. I'm pagan but signed up to the Pope's newsletter cos he seems like a good guy and his words may prompt some people to good actions. Deeds matter more than words!

By my count Labour won 50 of the 68 (74%) local government races they contested. They should be very happy happy with this result - and hopefully it encourages more local government efforts in the future. #nzpol

Jacquie has run successful small businesses but never on that scale. Some may say her fostering 70+ kids and teenagers was a success but it wasn't a business, more a labour of love.

As for staunchness, she needed that to take couple defaming and deadnaming her on FB to task thru Court. Convicted!

Jacquie is a staunch character in her own way. Her views show some prejudices common to people of her age but she's (probably) to the left of Winston Peters. That's not saying much I know. She has said many things I disagree with but she has also been kind and supportive to many less well off.
