I've always hated the idea of actions under stress showing what someone is "really like". Smashing your phone with a hammer doesn't show what it's really like, it shows what it's like when it's been smashed with a hammer.

I guess if you understand the investment of going to law school in the first place you don't think it's a fair trade to get three years of work and then none for the rest of your career
