The previous Sunday, a 7-11 manager flagged down soldiers to report that a man who tried to pay $2 for $4.50 worth of pizza. He also threw pizza at the manager, then his friend stole two slices of pizza.

Soldiers pursued and detained both accused pizza thieves.

Are Portland cops not helping ICE? I've seen all the videos from Chicago and cops there are clearly defending ICE but in all the Portland footage it doesn't look like there's local cops there.

I don't think there's any way to put that genie back in the bottle. Younger people have a clear view of Israel as a colonial outpost for the US and the west. Older people like myself now see it that way and feel anger at the lies we've been force-fed for our entire lives.

It's unacceptable that firefighters who die or are permanently disabled from work-related cancers don't receive the same benefits as others in the line of duty.
