No kid should ever have to protest or advocate for their friends’ basic humanity.

But they’re standing up at No Kings anyway.

Finally came across video of an arrest at a #NoKings event yesterday. 🙄

I didn't get a picture of the best sign I saw today, but I remember what it said:

Somewhere in America
A little Hispanic girl
Is hiding in an attic
And keeping a diary.

"No Kings" illustrates the uncomfortable truth about US politics: That the > 50% of white US people that want to turn the US into a white ethnostate (their words) is a lot of people. But the > 40% of white US people that don't want this, plus > 50% of brown people and > 90% of Black people, is more.

Petro objected to the US bombing a Columbian fishing vessel that had the emergency beacon on because they were broken down, that we subsequently bombed. One Columbian fisherman survived the attack.

This is the official US response to Petro's comments.
PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Trump calls Colombian President Petro an ‘illegal drug dealer’ and announces an end to US aid to the country.

The Declaration of Independence specifies 27 grievances with King George III and Britain.

Donald Trump and his regime have committed at least 20 of those same offenses highlighted in yellow.

Someone should tell them all that our current legal structure is actively being dismantled so...not sure what they learn about will still exist after they finish law school.

Retired Army Sgt. Brian Wofford spoke to me this morning at the Oklahoma City #NoKings protest. Didn’t expect him to be carrying his DD214 so I asked some warmup questions like when he got out and whether his injury was service-related.

He paused while describing the car bomb in Iraq to say this:

I know it's a fool's errand to expect anything from the media but "President posts video of himself dumping diarrhea on America" is an important thing to call attention to for a dozen reasons

Not sure where I would go. We've been here a long time at this point so really don't know anywhere else but... I suppose Mexican natives were here first. They didnt cross the border - America made the border cross them.

But... at what point do we start ignoring a family's history of invasion?

Hi!! I'm directly descended from the original foreign invaders who came on the Mayflower in 1620.

My family stuck around, fought in Revolutionary War & later for the Union in the Civil War. But hey, we still invaded from a foreign place. Native Mexicans were here first.

Should I report myself?
