Look, every single “deal” reached by a university with the Trump administration is a moral stain that will be seen with deep embarrassment once we’re through this. But for Northwestern to do this now, when the administration is visibly weakened, is even more shameful and inexcusable.

The White House’s new anti-media website includes denunciations of:

-ABC, which bribed the president
-CBS, which bribed the president and moved away from fact-based journalism trying to appeal to him and his fans
-WaPo, which spiked a Harris endorsement and tilts coverage in Trump’s favor

Fools.

A week in Chicago and the wind and the humidity from the lake made it brutally cold at 40 above. I was wrapped up in coat and hat. Come back to Fairbanks and it’s 8 above and I’m wearing a light jacket. If you live here you totally get this.

Also, we got out just ahead of the storm. Lucky.

They've acted as fast as they have precisely because they never expected to remain popular, they don't care about approval ratings, and they think they can hijack elections (and likely they can).

We're getting some good news, but we can't expect "the democratic process" to save us.

What’s disappointing is this: Trump commuted his 7-year sentence for fraud and identity theft, giving him a second chance he never earned. The judge who sentenced him noted his total lack of remorse — and he’s proving that judge right all over again.

Northwestern University's law school is named after the Pritzkers. @jbpritzker.bsky.social you going to do anything about this?
Among the provisions are ones agreeing to the Trump administration's definition of sex as "biological sex" and agreeing "not perform hormonal interventions and transgender surgeries ... on any individual under the age of 18 years old, effective immediately."

Yup, the reason that there was a small business boom under Biden was the enhanced tax credits. There was a record 21 million new businesses under his term. Without those enhancements that level the healthcare costs, we are going to see the economy constrict.
Around half of #ACA enrollees are people who are self-employed.

The other half mostly work for small businesses which don't provide healthcare coverage for their employees.

The ACA is VITAL to small businesses.
When health care tax credits expire, it’s working people who pay the price. Maine deserves leadership that protects affordable health care — not let premiums soar because of inaction.

Things are accelerating quite rapidly again and this appears to be a systemwide stress test
Trump claims “any document” signed by Joe Biden is “hereby terminated.”

He calls out executive orders later but obviously “any document” would be much broader and include legislation.

(He can’t legally do that but, as always, we get to watch how far he can push this without repercussions)
